Privacy Policy
Your work stays yours.
This Privacy Policy explains the information Novelbra handles to provide the writing workspace, authentication, persistence, AI-assisted tools, and account support during the testing release.
Last updated: March 2026 · Testing release
Information we handle
We may handle account information such as your email address and display name, project information such as titles and metadata, manuscript content and notes, Story Bible records, comments, preferences, version snapshots, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate you, save and retrieve your projects, provide writing and organization tools, process requested AI operations, create exports, maintain backups and versions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.
AI and third-party services
When you request an AI operation, relevant content and context may be sent to the configured AI provider so it can complete that request. Payment processing, when enabled, is handled by Paddle under its applicable policies. Review those providers’ terms and privacy documentation before using related features.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain requested versions and backups, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Account or data deletion requests should be made through the available support channel and may be subject to operational or legal retention requirements.
Security
Novelbra uses authenticated access controls, project ownership checks, server-managed credentials, rate limits, and encrypted transport where supported by the hosting and service providers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your credentials and keep independent backups.
